FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) - 27-year-old Taylor Schabuisness, currently serving a life sentence in prison for the murder and mutilation of Shad Thyrion in February 2022, was back in court for a competency hearing. Court records show that Schabuisness was in court for the competency hearing regardin g the alleged battery of a prison employee in July 2024. Additional details released regarding former Neenah officer fired after child pornography charges Schabusiness allegedly attacked a prison sergeant and a prison nurse while on a visit to the medical room for a staple in her arm.
