PORTAGE, Wis. (WFRV) - Multiple local and state agencies worked together on Thursday morning to recover the body of a missing Marquette County woman from a central Wisconsin river. According to the Portage Police Department, authorities successfully located and recovered the body of a 53-year-old woman who had been reported missing from the Town of Shields in Marquette County, Wisconsin. The woman's body was discovered around 8:20 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, in the Wisconsin River near the I-39 bridge in Portage.
