EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Joshua Anthony Gallardo, the former El Paso Police officer who allegedly choked and punched a woman while he was driving back in 2023, was terminated on Thursday, March 27, according to a spokesperson with the El Paso Police Department. As KTSM previously reported, Galla rdo allegedly choked a victim while driving his truck and punched her multiple times in the face in July 2023.
