ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The recreation facilities at Brighton Town Hall will be closed due to construction. According to town officials, work is underway on a geothermal system that will be installed at Town Hall. Due to this, the playground will close starting April 7, 2025, and the pool will be closed for the rest of 2025. “We know the Town Hall playground and pool are so important to area residents, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience with the need for closure during construction," Town Supervisor Bill Mohele said in a statement. "The town is deeply committed to preserving public green space, and we look forward to opening new and expanded outdoor facilities at Town Hall."
