MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Police are searching for suspects responsible for shooting at a man while he was driving in the airport area early Thursday morning. The call came in around 1:30 a.m. at 3371 Lamar Avenue. Police say the shots rang out, then the car crashed into a ditch in the area. T he victim told police he heard around 40 gunshots sounding like they were coming from automatic weapons. He was uninjured during the incident. The man told police he did not know how many people were shooting at him and was unsure what the suspects' vehicle looked like.
