BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Hamburg's Village Pizza & Pints says it will be closing this Sunday. The business, located at 14 Pierce Ave., served up pizzas, beer and wine, sandwiches, tacos, wings and more. It has also hosted musicians and various themed events for the community. In a post on s ocial media announcing the news, the restaurant said "it's time to move on" and showed appreciation for customers' patronage over the years. "Thank you to everyone that’s been a part of the team," the post said. "We have been blessed to have some truly committed employees and special friends that have worked for us over the years. We thank you." Village Pizza & Pints asked customers to visit the restaurant on Saturday for drinks and food.
