LEXINGTON CO., S.C. (WOLO) – South Carolina Highway Patrol says a driver is dead following a three vehicle collision on Wednesday. Master Trooper William Bennett says it happened at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Old Dunbar Road near the intersection with McCall Street. According to Master Trooper B ennett, the driver of a 2019 Honda SUV was travelling east, when they hit a 2016 Nissan Sedan travelling west. Then, the Honda SUV also hit a 2019 Kia Sedan that was also driving west. Troopers say the Honda driver died on scene from their injuries, while the Kia driver was injured and taken to the hospital. The Nissan driver wasn’t hurt. The Lexington County Coroner’s Office is working on identifying the victim. Highway Patrol is investigating this incident.
