A 16-year-old boy shot stepping off a Queens MTA bus was killed over an ongoing dispute at school, police sources said Thursday as the victim’s father took to social media to vent his grief.
“I don’t wish this on nobody,” Miquel Jazmin says in a video posted on Facebook about his son Sincere
Jazmin’s slaying in South Jamaica Wednesday afternoon. “Our kids are supposed to be our future.”
Jazmin was stepping off a Q83 bus near Liberty Ave. and 172nd St. in South Jamaica about 2:40 p.m. when another teen disembarking the bus pulled out a gun and shot him in the chest in front of Detective Keith L. Williams Park, cops said. The shooter, who has not been caught, is believed to be a classmate of the victim, with the slaying stemming from an ongoing dispute in school, a police source said.

Sincere staggered about a half block to a neighborhood bodega, where he collapsed in the doorway. Medics rushed the boy to Jamaica Hospital but he could not be saved, according to police.
“My heart is broken I’ll never hold my son in my arms anymore,” Jazmin wrote on Facebook Wednesday evening. “My son passed away today and I lost my heart.”
The teen’s father said Sincere was into drill rap, where performers rag on rivals and often threaten violence in the lyrics.
“He might of been doing drill music but he was a good boy. He was a good boy,” Jazmin said.
“I’m so lost right now I can’t even explain how I’m feeling. How hurt and heartbroken I am,” the devastated dad said in a later post. “I’m just grateful I got to give my son a hug and kiss before he left out the house.”
A man working at an auto body shop watched as Sincere was shot.

“They jumped off the bus and one of them pulled out a gun and shot him,” said shop owner Budzy Singh. “They looked like school children.”
The gunman fired a bullet into the teen’s chest and took off eastbound on Liberty Ave. He was last seen wearing a black vest over a gray hoodie with a black backpack, according to police sources.
“The one who got shot ran around the back of the bus and the other one, the shooter, ran the other way up the block,” said Singh. “I have kids of my own. It’s so sad.”

Harry Patel, a worker at the bodega where the teen collapsed, said Sincere tried to keep going but couldn’t.
“He was holding his chest,” said Harry Patel, who was working behind the counter. “He had a lot of pain and then he couldn’t speak.”
Patel, not seeing any blood, tried to stand the teen up but the victim fell back to the floor.
“I said, ‘What happened?’ but he couldn’t speak,” said Patel, 47. “He was unconscious, like he was sleeping.”
“He was so young,” Patel added. “How could he have an enemy?”
Cops on Thursday were scouring the area looking for surveillance video that could help them identify the shooter. ...read more read less
