ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Maurice "Moe" Jackson, a football coach who said he recently agreed to be terminated after two full seasons as head coach for the Aquinas varsity football team, is now moving into a position with Vertus High School, the school announced on social media Wednesday.
Jacks

He did so after being asked to either resign, part ways mutually, or be terminated.
Maurice Jackson, who was inducted into the Section V football Hall of Fame in 2023, took the football coach position at Aquinas that same year.
“I elected to be terminated because if I part ways mutually, or if I resign, then the narrative is that I didn’t want to coach, I just left,” he said in a video posted to his Facebook page earlier this month.
