ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A former Avon police trainee and Rochester resident pleaded guilty to child pornography and cyberstalking charges on Wednesday. Casey Medina, 33, was found in possession of 360 images of child pornography, including at least one image involving a prepubescent child subj ected to violence, after a search warrant was executed on his cellphone. Mother of 3-month-old mauled to death pleads guilty to manslaughter During the investigation conducted by the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, Medina was also found to have shared and posted edited sexually explicit images to public websites and social media platforms between May and August 2024. Images showed the victim's face superimposed onto sexually explicit images falsely showing her engaged in sexual activity. Over 26 days in May 2024 and times during June and July 2024, Medina sent and recruited others to send the victim threatening and harassing text messages threatening to kill, kidnap, and sexually abuse her.
