ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — This week's Wednesday Primetime 585 Shining Star puts the spotlight on Noah Clare, a senior at Byron Bergen!
In just third grade, Clare began his basketball career with one of his closest friends, Craig (CJ) DiQuattro. Unfortunately, during practice for basket
ball prior to the start of this season, Craig broke his collarbone and was unable to return until the season was almost over.
Being a senior as well, this was pretty heartbreaking. At the end of the season, Noah was picked to play in the exceptional seniors basketball game. He decided to give up his spot to CJ so he’d have one last chance to play due to being injured.

From the very beginning, Noah had an interesting journey. He was adopted from Korea at 9 months old and has been playing soccer since age 5. He was captain of both his soccer and basketball teams this year. Last year, his soccer team went to States. In Basketball, they played at the War Memorial and won!
Outside of soccer and basketball, he has a black belt in taekwondo. He also enjoys fishing in his spare time. This spring, he intends to play varsity tennis.
Noah plans to attend University at Buffalo in the fall.
From all of us here at News 8 and Primetime 585, congratulations, Noah! Good luck in all your future endeavors!
