Infinity Room comedy
Friday, March 28: Head to Infinity Room for a night of comedy with Kermet Apio, a performer who has brought his comedy all around the world. Apio can be heard often on Sirius/XM radio and on his own special Dry Bar Comedy, a regular stand up comedy special based in Utah.
On Friday night, Apio starts his Salem show at 9:30 p.m. Doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets are available online for $15 and at the door for $20. Infinity Room is located at 150 Liberty St. S.E. #150. The show is 21+ only.
Easter marketplace
Saturday, March 29 & Sunday, March 30: Holiday Marketplace is hosting a spring and Easter celebration at the Oregon State Fairgrounds this weekend. The Easter marketplace will include a variety of vendors selling toys, clothing, books, jewelry and more. Throughout the weekend, there will be chances to win hourly prizes and take photos with the Easter bunny.
General admission tickets are free ahead of time online but $5 at the door. Children get in free. Parking is $5 per vehicle. The fairgrounds are located at 2330 17th St. N.E. The event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. More information about the marketplace is available online.
Huckle Buck Highway show
*Saturday, March 29: The Huckle Buck Highway band is coming to Salem for a night full of free music and dancing at the Half Penny Public House. The country and rock band from Silverton is kicking off spring with classic music and dancing.
The show starts at 8 p.m. at the Half Penny, located at 3743 Commercial St. S.E. Click here to see more about the show. No cover listed.
Columbia River movie premiere
Saturday, March 29: Enjoy a premiere screening at Salem Cinema of a new documentary about two family members braving a journey along the Columbia River in a canoe. The film, “Columbia River Canoe Project,” follows Robert Lester and his cousin as they take on a 1,300 mile journey from Montana to the Pacific Ocean.
The event will include a Q & A session with Lester after the film screening and there will be prizes and giveaways throughout the event. Tickets are $11. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and Salem Cinema is located at 1127 Broadway St. N.E. More information about Lester and the documentary is available online.
