Woman wins $1M on Scratchers game in National City

NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- One lucky Scratchers player in San Diego County has recently found herself $1 million richer.
According to the California Lottery, Maria Samoy Moines walked into the Hi Bev Liquor, located at 21
11 Highland Ave. in National City, and purchased a $100 Million Mega Cash Scratchers game. These tickets cost $10 each, with one in 2.92 overall odds and one in 4.13 cash odds.
To win, players need to match their given numbers to any of the six winning numbers to win that prize. If a player uncovers a "10X" symbol, they'll automatically win 10 times that prize.
For those who uncover a "20X" symbol, they'll automatically win 20 times that prize. Finally, gamblers who scratch off a "WIN" symbol will win all 20 prices listed on the Scratchers.
