BUTLER COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) A two-vehicle crash east of Andover on Wednesday afternoon sent one man to the hospital with serious injuries, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. It happened around 3:34 p.m. at the intersection of SW 70th Street and Santa Fe Lake Road, about five miles east of And over. Firefighter hospitalized after Butler County house fire Authorities say a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado was turning left from Santa Fe Lake Road when it was struck by a northbound 2024 Triumph motorcycle. The motorcycle attempted to avoid the pickup but collided with it. The motorcycle came to rest in a ditch on the west side of the road. The driver of the pickup, a 50-year-old man from Augusta, was not injured. The motorcyclist, a 68-year-old man from Towanda, sustained suspected serious injuries and was transported to Wesley Medical Center for treatment.
