JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) -- An Allendale man faces multiple charges after a high-speed chase by law-enforcement. Bryon Patterson Jr., 26, has been charged with failing to stop for blue lights and sirens, possession of a stolen handgun, no insurance and tag registered to another vehicle. Patt erson was initially pulled over by Hampton Police for speeding. Investigators said the vehicles tag came back to a separate vehicle. Patterson allegedly then took off, leading to a pursuit down I-95. Officials said a neighboring agency deployed spike strips at mile marker 22, which successfully deflated at least one of the vehicles tires. Patterson continued to flee, eventually wrecking around mile marker 19.
