NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) — OU senior Jordan Bowers was named the 2025 SEC Gymnast of the Year, the conference announced Wednesday. This is the second time in as many years Bowers has earned Gymnast of the Year honors. She claimed the same award from the Big 12 in 2024. Bowers is currently ranked se cond in the nation in the all-around. She's also ranked in the top ten in floor and beam. Bowers earned three SEC Gymnast of the Week awards this season. She had 38 scores this season of 9.9 or higher. Bowers earned All-SEC honors on bars, beam, floor and the all-around. In all, the Sooners had a league-high seven earn All-SEC honors. Joining her on that list is Audrey Davis, Lily Pederson, Faith Torrez, and Keira Wells. Addison Fatta, Elle Mueller, and Lily Pederson earned All-Freshman team accolades. The OU Women's Gymnastics team returns to action April 3-6 as they compete in the NCAA Seattle regional as the number two overall seed against Auburn, Nebraska, and the winner of Illinois/UC Davis. ...read more read less
