Olathe, Ks. -- The Olathe Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a car that a man tried to lure children into while they were playing at a park. Man tried to lure kids at Olathe park into car, police say On Monday, March 17, sometime before 1:30 p.m., police said juv eniles were playing at a park near South Cook Street when a man asked them to get into his car. Police provided an update Wednesday and said the car is believed to be a silver Chevrolet Malibu, with an unknown temporary license plate and damage to the rear, driver-side bumper. Police also said initially that the car was missing its hubcaps.
