KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Leavenworth Police Department is investigating after a 3-year-old boy was found dead Wednesday at an apartment complex, according to a police spokesman. Major Dan Nicodemus, a police spokesman, said officers responded to a medical call just before 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at W oodland Village apartments on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive near Limit Street.
