RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Two 12-year-olds have been petitioned after they were caught breaking into cars, said Richland County deputies. Just before 10 p.m. last night, Richland County deputies responded in the 400 block of Harbison Boulevard for reports of two suspicious individuals lo oking into vehicles. Deputies located the suspects, and after a brief chase both suspects were apprehended. Deputies say one of the suspects was bit by a K9 unit and was treated by EMS. Investigators revealed that the suspects had entered three vehicles and stolen cash from one of them. Due to their ages, they were released back to the custody of their parents.
