FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno Police Department is seeking help in solving a 2024 homicide. Police say that on August 17, 2024, around 1 a.m., officers responded to the area of Santa Clara Avenue and B Street for a six-round Shot Spotter activation.  During the investigation, the y learned from a witness that a gunshot victim was in front of a nearby apartment complex.  Officers say they located 21-year-old Christopher Worthy on the grassy area in front of the apartment complex, with multiple gunshot wounds.  21-year-old Christopher Worthy Worthy was transported to Community Medical Center, where investigators say he later died. Homicide detectives say they have learned that the victim was involved in an argument moments before the shooting occurred. Detectives are looking for any witnesses to this shooting.
