CHULA VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5.KUSI) -- Three male suspects were involved in an ATM robbery at a 7-Eleven in Chula Vista Wednesday morning, authorities said.
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the heist
took place around 3:30 a.m. at a store located in the 4300 block of Main Street. The suspects reportedly entered the 7-Eleven with chains in hand and a plan to steal the ATM. Meanwhile, a running white Ford pickup truck remained parked outside.

Once inside, police said the suspects pushed the store clerk before prying open the ATM doors, attaching chains to the machine, and using the truck to pull the ATM out of the store. The pickup truck, with the ATM secured, sped off with the suspects.
The act is being classified as robbery due to the physical confrontation with the clerk, though no on was injured during the incident.
The suspects remain at large and no arrests have been made at this time. Authorities are actively investigating the crime, but so far, the only description of the perpetrators includes the white Ford pickup truck and the three suspects being males.
