TOPEKA (KSNT) - A 27 News reporter is at the scene of a crash that is causing traffic disruptions on Wanamaker Road in west Topeka. Several Topeka police officers are responding to the scene of a crash where an SUV went into a drainage ditch on the west side of Wanamaker Road. Crews are now work ing to pull the vehicle out of the ditch. Topeka rolls out new ‘311’ hotline Photos by Gabriel Johnson. Police told 27 News that two people were injured and then drove themselves to the hospital. The crash happened when the driver had an issue with their throttle and swerved out of the lane, over into the ditch, according to police.
