EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - One lucky Hampshire County resident was a winner in the new "$100 a Week for Life" instant ticket game this week. Massachusetts lottery players who were lucky this March Diane Brown of Easthampton claimed her prize winnings at the Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Dorchester on Tuesday. Diane selected the cash option on her prize, receiving a one-time payment of $80,000 before taxes. Courtesy of the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission. Diane shared that she plans to save her winnings. She purchased the lucky ticket, which first went on sale February 18, at College Highway Variety, located at 334 Main Street in Easthampton. The store will receive a bonus of $1,040 for the sale.
