Two New Hampshire residents arrested in West Springfield for allegedly stealing thousands in sports goods

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Two New Hampshire residents are facing shoplifting charges after stealing over $2,000 worth of merchandise from a sports store in West Springfield.

ICK'S Sporting Goods at 1081 Riverdale Street for a report of two shoplifters who filled a black trash bag with merchandise and ran out of the store.
A detective working undercover in the area observed the two running out of the store with an overflowing bag of merchandise. The detective, along with Patrol Officers and Store Loss Prevention personnel, stopped them behind a building across from the DICK'S Sporting Goods.

The shoplifters attempted to provide the officers with false information, however they were positively identified.
Inside the trash bag was $1,871.98 worth of stolen items, cut and clipped security cables and ink pods, as well as a wire cutting device. One of the shoplifters, Sara Ann Frazier of Keene, New Hampshire, was found wearing three stolen items of clothing under her jeans, which totaled an additional $375. The total amount of the products stolen was $2,246.98.
Frazier, along with Amanda Lyn Amer of Keene, New Hampshire, were taken into custody and were charged with the following:
