Bluebell Festival to be hosted at Merrimac Farm Wildlife Management Area

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Spring has sprung, bringing the return of Virginia bluebell season in the Commonwealth! A celebration of these blooms will be held near the end of March in Northern Virginia.
The Bluebell Festival will be held at Merrimac Farm Wildlife Management Area from 10 a.
m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 30 by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources and the Prince William Conservation Alliance.
Festivities will begin with opening remarks followed by multiple tours. The 2-mile Bluebell Trail will follow a one-way circuit to accommodate visitors, and muddy conditions are expected.
The event is free to attend, though timed entry registration is required.

Due to limited parking, carpooling is encouraged, according to organizers.
