WATERBURY, Conn. (WLNE) — The Waterbury woman accused of holding her stepson captive for most of his life, briefly appeared in court Wednesday. Kimberly Sullivan arrived at Waterbury Superior Court this morning where she was expected to plead not guilty to kidnapping and assault charges. Our AB C affiliate in Connecticut, WTNH, reported the case was continued until Friday. Sullivan is accused of holding her now 32-year-old stepson in captivity for over 20 years.
