OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - EMBARK announced on Wednesday that it is expanding its Climb Ride program to support local youth participating in Pivot's Transitional Living Program.
According to EMBARK, Climb Ride was launched in 2019 to help parents in the reunification process with their children by al
lowing them to complete the DHS reunification programs without having to worry about transportation.

The partnership with Pivot, a nonprofit that focuses on helping youth in need, provides free rides to school, doctor's appointments, work, job interviews and other essential destinations for participants ages 17 to 24.
“EMBARK is excited to expand our Climb Ride program to Pivot’s transition-age youth,” EMBARK Mobility Management Coordinator Dr. Marilyn Dillon said. “It’s an opportunity to demonstrate the power of collaborative efforts to improve the lives of these young people as they enter the workforce or seek educational opportunities.”
Officials say Pivot clients can participate in the program by meeting with EMBARK's Mobility Programs Coordinator for an orientation.
“Climb Ride has been an absolute game-changer for me,” said a youth who participated in the pilot program. “The flexibility and reliability ensure that I’m never late to work, allowing me to focus on my job without the stress of transportation barriers. This program has opened doors to better-paying opportunities and has truly empowered me in my career journey. The commitment they show to helping individuals succeed is remarkable, and I am beyond grateful for their support.”
