On Wednesday, festival organizers said the event will be rescheduled to Sunday, March 30.
“We moved our festival to Sunday to ensure our guests have a safe & memorable day on the lake with no worry of being impacted by the rain. Sunday promises to be a beautiful sunny day for friends and families to come out and enjoy all our seafood festival has to offer," said BBB Executive Producer Cleveland Spears, III, in a news release.
Attendees can still expect food from a lineup of more than 16 local and regional spots, including Clesi’s, Drago's, The Nola Chuck Wagon, Mr. Shrimp’s Kitchen, Crawlins Seafood, Lillie’s Cajun Kitchen, Crescent City Burgers and Chris’ Specialty Foods and more.
