Lincoln Police cruiser. (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Mar. 27)–An assault and hostage situation early Monday morning at a south Lincoln home. LPD was first called around 4:30am to the area of 47th and South Street, officers were not able to find the victim. LPD public information manager Er ika Thomas says about 10:45 Monday morning, the victim called again and said she had been held hostage for about three hours by a man known to her. The victim said she was also assaulted, suffering injuries to her head. Members of the Metro Fugitive Task Force helped Lincoln Police take Carl Miller into custody and he was arrested for 3rd-degree domestic assault, false imprisonment and assault by strangulation or suffocation. ...read more read less
