n case from last month, as part of this week’s Crime Stoppers report.
LPD forensics technician Becky Keller said around 1:30am on Mar. 14, two people were seen wandering through the Sharp Building near 13th and “N” Street and while they were walking out, one of the suspects in a denim jacket kicked an exterior glass door, shattering it. The person in the short-sleeved shirt was not involved, but was filming the majority of the time they were seen on cameras messing around the building.
The second case was from shortly after 2:30pm on Feb. 13, where security cameras in the area of SW 30th and West “A” streets captured a truck hitting a vehicle and leaving the scene. The truck is a late 1990s GMC Sierra or similar and it slid into the back of victim’s vehicle at a decent speed, causing damage to the back end.
Keller said the truck is unique and it had some rust above the passenger side back wheel.
