Kansas City, Mo. — Join the Kansas City Royals as they workout Wednesday at Kauffman Stadium on the eve of Opening Day. We'll also hear from star players, as well as the team owner and manager, Wednesday afternoon.

ut, Opening Day starting pitcher Cole Ragans will speak about the 2025 season alongside Royals Captain Salvador Perez, Chairman and CEO John Sherman and Manager Matt Quatraro.
The workout will be open to the public, so head over to Kauffman Stadium this afternoon for a chance to see your favorite players. Gate D will open to fans at 2:30 p.m., and the workout will begin at 3 p.m.

Although the 2024 season was a major improvement for the Royals – with 30 more wins than the previous season – the team ended the regular season with a seven-game losing streak. But, in a remarkable turnaround, the Royals clinched an AL wild card—making it to the playoffs for the first time since 2015.
