INDIANAPOLIS — A child is expected to survive after being struck by a vehicle on the city's south side on Wednesday. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 2500 block of Appleton Drive on report of a crash at approximately 12:40 p.m. This addr ess comes back to an apartment complex. Police confirmed that a child was struck by a vehicle as a result of this crash. Scene where a child was struck on March 26, 2025. Police weren't aware of the exact severity of the child's injuries at this time, but did say the child was expected to survive.
