10,000+ cans distributed in Wisconsin and Illinois recalled by CocaCola

(WFRV) - Officials say over 10,000 cans of soda throughout Wisconsin and Illinois have been recalled by a Coca-Cola distributor in Wisconsin.
According to a release from the Food and Drug Administration, 864 120oz 12-packs, or 10,368 cans, were recalled on March 6 at Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling, LLC
. in Milwaukee, for fear of plastic objects possibly being inside the cans.
The recall was upgraded to a Class II classification on March 24 noting that the 12-packs were distributed throughout Wisconsin and Illinois.

Consumers who purchased 12oz 12-packs of Coca-Cola Original Taste are asked to make sure that the 12-pack doesn't have a UPC of 0 49000-02890 4. If the 12-pack doesn't have a visible UPC, consumers can check individual 12oz cans for UPC 0 49000-00634 6.
At this time, the FDA has not provided specific information on the locations where the 12 packs may have been distributed or any information on how the 12 packs came to be contaminated.
