CHARLOTTE, NC – SouthPark After 5, a free evening entertainment series that has attracted over 50,000 attendees since it began in 2023, will return to the SouthPark neighborhood six times this spring beginning Thursday, April 17. Each family-friendly concert features live music, interactive art experiences, food trucks, and craft drinks. The event is presented by SouthPark Community Partners and produced by Southern Entertainment. “We are so excited to kick off the third year of SouthPark After 5—especially as we welcome the PGA Championship to Charlotte this spring,” said Adam Rhew, president and CEO of SouthPark Community Partners. “Hosting memorable experiences that deepen community ties is central to SouthPark’s neighborhood identity.” SouthPark After 5 takes place at Symphony Park at the corner of Barclay Downs Drive and Carnegie Boulevard, adjacent to SouthPark Mall. The event runs from 5-9 p.m. every Thursday from April 17 through May 22. The concerts are free to attend. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to sit and picnic on the lawn. In addition to a rotating food truck lineup, visitors are welcome to bring in food from SouthPark’s extraordinary restaurants. Outside beverages and coolers are not permitted inside the park. The event will host a wide variety of bands including rock, country, soul, and tribute bands. The weekly entertainment lineup will include: April 17 – Southside Station performing a blend of rock and country, and free face painting with Face Art & More April 24 – The Breakfast Club playing 80’s hits, and a free community coloring wall with DRAW IT by MEL May 1 – The Voltage Brothers performing hits from every genre, and free sunflowers for the first 1,000 attendees May 8 –  Bourbon Sons performing country hits, and free face painting with Face Art & More May 15 – On the Border Ultimate Eagles Tribute and Landslide Tribute to Fleetwood Mac, and free photo booth sessions with Retro Booths CLTMay 22 – Gump Fiction performing 90’s hits, and free children’s music activities with Kindermusik with Missy ...read more read less
