JEDBURG, S.C. (WCBD) – A damaged natural gas line in the Jedburg area has been secured. Multiple agencies responded to a location on Hodge Lane around noon Wednesday after learning about a broken gas line. One business was evacuated while others were asked to shelter in place. Paul Fische r, a spokesman for Dominion Energy South Carolina, said a third-party excavator was doing work in the area when the natural gas line was struck and damaged. The line was secured around 1:40 p.m., and first responders have left the scene.
