CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston Police will crack down on unsafe drivers Thursday night. The departments will conduct traffic safety checkpoints on Folly Road near Albermarle Road and Calhoun Street near Pitt Street. Police say the checkpoints take place between 9 p.m. and midnight. “Our goal is to keep our roadways safe and remind everyone to follow traffic laws,” said Charleston Police.
