FOWLER, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man believed to have been homeless is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Fowler Tuesday night, the Fowler Police Department said. Police say they arrived on the scene at 8th Street and Adams Avenue around 10 p.m. after receiving a report of a vehicle versus pede strian traffic collision. According to Fowler Police, officers immediately started CPR, but the man was pronounced deceased on the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released, but police believe he was in his 30s. The cause of the collision is still under investigation. Officers say the driver and passenger of the vehicle remained on the scene.
