The Colorado Education Initiative and Colorado Department of Education are co-hosting a virtual AI Literacy Summit Friday, March 28. Last year, CEI released its Roadmap for AI in education, offering guidance around the technolog y. CEI is encouraging schools to embrace AI and tap into the opportunities it can provide."What's exciting is that we're seeing more and more educators who are using AI to empower students, to personalize learning, to close some of those math gaps, for example, to really engage kids," Karen Quanbeck with the Colorado Education Initiative said. AI Literacy Summit focuses on how artificial intelligence can be used in schoolsFridays summit will feature presentations from students educators and leaders about how theyre using AI. "We'll have on student talk about how she uses AI to help with her ADHD. We'll have a student share some research that he's been doing with AI and biases. We'll have a student who'll be talking about 'This is how I've been working with senior citizens and AI," Quanbeck said.
