Southern New England weather is about to get busy starting with today. A coastal storm is skirting by our area today and due to its’ close proximity, will bring us some cloudiness and a slight chance of a shower. High temperatures will top out near 50. Chance of rain showers lingers into the ev ening before clearing overnight and lows drop to near 30. High pressure delivers a day of sunshine and high temperatures once again top near 50. Friday has increasing clouds through the day and the chance of showers returns for the evening. Friday temperatures are looking milder near 55. The weekend will continue the unsettled weather trend as both weekend days look mostly cloudy with the chance of rain showers. The best chance of showers looking to be on Sunday. Weekend days will top out near 50. Monday will also be unsettled with mostly cloudy skies, a 50% chance of showers and highs near 55.
