The Latest from Storm Team 5...
Good morning! If you liked the weather yesterday, your luck continues as we will see even better today into tomorrow.
We will wake up to mostly sunny skies, but as a weak disturbance passes by to our north, a few afternoon clouds will move in. There is an off ch
ance of some light precipitation, but most should stay dry. High temperatures will get even warmer today with low 40s lakeside, upper 40s to around 50 for the rest of us.
Tonight, partly cloudy in the evening, turning mostly clear overnight. We will not have a very cold night, as a SW wind between 5-10 mph will keep lows in the upper 20s and low 30s.
A weak disturbance will slide to our south tomorrow morning and areas south and west of Oshkosh could see a brief morning shower, but most of the day will be partly cloudy. Highs for all will reach the 50s, closing in on 60 to our south. Mostly cloudy overnight, with lows in the lower 30s.
Our next weathermaker will move in through multiple waves, one Friday into Friday night, and another Saturday evening into Sunday.
Friday morning, there could be a few rumbles of thunder as a warm front moves in, but otherwise, expect a few scattered on and off showers with some freezing rain far north at times, especially early and late in the day.
Saturday, most of your day will be cloudy and breezy, with a few isolated rain showers possible.
The second wave will move in Saturday evening and night, going into Sunday. This is when I think the precipitation will be more widespread. It starts out as a rain and snow mix, with the rain & snow line slowly moving into the Fox Valley throughout the day. There is still a lot of uncertainty on this, so please continue to check up on the forecast. What we know is at least an inch to an inch and a half of moisture is on the way.
The start of our next work week looks quiet, with temperatures slowly getting closer to average.
