ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) The driver of a car was airlifted from the scene of a a multi-vehicle crash on Minnich Road just north of Flatrock Road in southeast Allen County early Wednesday morning. Emergency crews were sent to the scene at around 5:47 a.m. according to Sgt. Ken Litzenberg with th e Allen County Sheriff's Department. Investigators determined that the driver of a Hyundai Tiburon was going north on Minnich when it sideswiped a semi going south. The Hyundai then collided head-on with a pickup also going south. The Hyundai ended up off the side of the road. The drivers of both the pickup and the semi remained on the scene to talk to investigators. It's unclear if either driver was hurt, although the pickup received extensive damage. The driver of the Hyundai has not been identified.
