WASHINGTON, D.C.– Representative Jasmine Crockett could be facing a censure over comments she made about Texas governor, Greg Abbott. At a human rights campaign event over the weekend, the democratic congresswoman referred to Abbott as “Governor Hot Wheels. Crockett says her remarks weren’t referencing Abbott’s use of a wheelchair, instead, she says she was referring to his use of “planes, trains and automobiles to transfer migrants out of Texas and into communities led by black leadership.” Censuring a member of congress is a formal condemnation.
