SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Padres baseball is back in San Diego.
Petco Park will host the four-game opening series against the Atlanta Braves this week.
Opening Day for the Padres kicks off Thursday at 1:10 p.m.
Right-handed pitcher Michael King will take the mound for the Friars, while lef
t-handed pitcher Chris Sale gets the ball for the Braves.
Fans attending the game will be able to enter the park starting at 11 a.m.
New features at Petco Park include the renovated Padres New Era Team Store, new food and beverage offerings, new retail items and the return of the Padres 50/50 Raffle with proceeds benefiting the Padres Foundation.

Thursday's pregame ceremony will start at 12:30 p.m., featuring the unfurling of the United States flag, the national anthem performed by Southern California native AJ Rafael and a flyover by three USN MH-60R Seahawk Helicopters from Maritime Strike Squadron 35 (HSM-35).
Before the seventh-inning stretch, Class Mike Dalager of the United States Coast Guard will perform "God Bless America."

Fans are prohibited from bringing bags except for clutches and purses no larger than 5” X 7”, single-compartment clear plastic bags not exceeding 12” X 6” X 12” or infant and medical bags. Other prohibited items can be found on the team's entry policies.
