Tuesday's temps reached the low 50s, which is seasonal in late March. But, another cold morning is in place. Our lowest early AM temps are in the mid-to-upper 20s.
Temps drop to the mid-to-upper 20s during the early morning.
High pressure is the main influence on our Wednesday weather and this
will result in a mostly sunny day with a light SW, then NW wind with highs in the low 50s in the afternoon in Fort Wayne, upper 40s will be found in some places north of Fort Wayne.
Wednesday's highs are in the upper 40s to low 50s.
On Thursday, a warm front will be off to our southwest. It'll help send in a few more clouds than what we have around on Wednesday and there's a slight chance some of the rain developing near the warm front drifts into parts of our area, mainly south of Fort Wayne during the day.
The rain chance increases Thursday night into Friday with more rain possible during the day Friday. On Friday, the warm front moves north of the area and we get into its warm sector, which gives our temps a huge boost. Friday's highs will be in the low-to-mid-70s.
Rain chances increase by the end of the week.
Over the weekend, we're staying on the warm side with upper 60s on Saturday and mid-60s on Sunday. There's only a slight chance of rain on Saturday. However, on Sunday, there's a higher chance of rain and storms, as a cold front heads through to bring the short streak of warmer than average days to an end. As this plays out, some of Sunday's storms may be gusty and strong. We're keeping on eye on Sunday's conditions, in the event of severe storm potential, which is a possibility.
A cold front approaching on Sunday may produce some gusty, strong thunderstorms.
