Baton Rouge rapper NBA YoungBoy released from Alabama prison, taken to Arizona facility

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Baton Rouge rapper NBA YoungBoy has been transferred to a facility in Arizona.
According to records, Kentrell Gaulden, 25, was moved from a federal prison in Alabama to a Residential Reentry Management (RRM) facility in Phoenix.

eral offenders services, including housing, that will help with their society reentry needs, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
Prison records show that Gaulden's release date is scheduled for April 26, 2025.
Gaulden was sentenced to 23 months in federal prison in December 2024 after pleading guilty to his role in a large-scale prescription drug fraud ring in Utah. He was originally charged with 46 charges related to the crime. As part of the deal, Gaulden would not serve time in Utah, his felony charges were reduced to misdemeanors and he paid a $25,000 fine.
