WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Local musicians are tuning up for a battle of the bands to raise funds and awareness for children in foster care. CASA of Sedgwick County Battle of the Bands is set for April 5 at Wave. The benefit show will feature performances from popular local bands including Harrison Steele, Chronic Audio, Whitnie Means, and Rebel Outlaws. Downtown Wichita landmark now up for sale According to a news release from the non-profit, proceeds from the night will go toward recruiting, training, and supporting CASA volunteers. CASA — Court Appointed Special Advocates — trains community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children navigating the court system.
