HOLLAND, Pa. —The Council Rock South softball team won a thriller in dramatic fashion Tuesday when it rallied with runs in the bottom of the sixth and seventh innings to nip Neshaminy, 2-1.
Neshaminy took 1-0 lead into the sixth thanks to an unearned run in the fourth and the strong pitching of Mo
lly Ambrosius.
The Hawks, however, came back and scored the game winner in the seventh on an infield single, a walk and a suicide squeeze by Julia Scannapieco with one out against reliever Addie Pennisi.
Lexi Waring got the with a four-hitter and seven strikeouts. Waring also doubled along with teammates Kelly Delise and Jenna Pesapane.
Rock South is now 3-1 and hard luck Neshaminy is 1-4.

BRISTOL, Pa. — The Warriors batted in only two innings after scoring 10 in the first and 10 more in the second. Briana Slack gave up just one hit on a bunt and struck out five. She was also a batting star with a single, double and triple. Peyton McClain drove in four and Grace Boyle also doubled.

BENSALEM Pa. — The Indians continued to tear it up at the plate and are now 4-1. Kayla Ripper remained red hot in the leadoff spot with a 4-for-4. One of those hits was a triple. Chelsea Seiler, pitcher Olivia Schlindwein and Sierra Klein all had two hits.
