LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Kansas Jayhawks were welcomed to a newly renovated Anderson Family Football Complex.
The upgrades to the complex include a brand new walkthrough space, team room and additional meeting facilities.
"The renovations to Anderson Family Football Complex will have a profound
impact on our student-athletes, as it gives them a place to train, recover, study, fuel and improve," head coach Lance Leipold said.

"These additions to the facility wouldn't be possible without the incredible support that we have received as we continue to give our student-athletes one of the best experiences in all of college football."
The new team room will have a view over looking David Booth Memorial Stadium and feature a theatre-style seating with 180 custom Jayhawk seats.
The walkthrough space consists of a 2,400 square foot space with a videoboard that will deliver in-game scenarios to help Kansas prepare for their game. The videoboard has the ability to simulate various in-game situations along with serving as an event and recruiting space.
These changes come after earlier renovations to the weight room, locker room, player lounge and more.
More renovations are still on the table. Those upgrades include a team dining area, a new team entrance to the stadium, creative studio, enhanced equipment room and more.
When upgrades are complete, the renovations to Anderson Family Football Complex will feature over 33,000 square feet of new construction and 40,000 square feet of renovated space within the complex.
