Portion of Granby Road in Belchertown to close for tree removal

BELCHERTOWN, Mass. (WWLP) - The Belchertown Department of Public Works has announced that a portion of Granby Road will be closed on Wednesday.

National Grid will be conducting tree removal services on Granby Road between Chauncey Wa
lker Street (Route 21) and Ludlow Street. The work will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, during which time Granby Road will be impassable between residences #35 and #41.
Those attempting to access #35 and below may do so from Chauncey Walker Street, and #41 and above can be accessed from Ludlow Street. Emergency vehicles must also route accordingly.
Travelers in the area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. Belchertown DPW said that work is weather-dependent and may change without notice.
