CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Part of a Chesterfield County roadway will be shut down in mid-April to allow for a crossline pipe replacement project. From 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, a section of Fox Run Road, in the area of 9342 Fox Run Road, will be closed for this road work, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). Detours will be available. They are as follows: Northbound traffic: Move west on Sara Kay Drive, then north to Edington Drive, then east to Sara Kay Drive, then south to Fox Run Drive. Southbound traffic: Move north on Fox Run Drive, then west to Sara Kay Drive, then south to Edington Drive, then east to Sara Kay Drive. Area residents will still be able to access their properties while VDOT crews work, the department said.
